In Busy Bby, I play with the image of a woman whose reality is filtered through pop culture, irony, and gloss. Heart-shaped glasses, cash for vision - these aren’t just symbols, they’re a mask. A way of shielding yourself from the pressure of always performing, always being on.
I wanted to explore how love, money, and image can become both armor and constraint. She’s busy - too busy to see the world as it is. But in that detachment, there’s power too. A self-made shield in the shape of style.
