Bossy Bby
In Bossy Bby, I wanted to capture a moment of bold confidence — that feeling when you’re no longer waiting for validation because you already know your worth. The girl in the painting is holding a stack of money to her ear like a phone — not as a symbol of wealth, but as a metaphor for power and the ability to speak for yourself.
I’m playing with pop aesthetics and symbols that are often tied to success, reinterpreting them through the lens of female identity. For me, this piece is about the freedom to take up space, to be unapologetically loud, confident, alive. It’s my visual way of saying: I’m here, I know what I want, and I don’t need your permission.
